Salsa dancing , vj search & all
This weekend was crazy, tiring and exciting all in one. First, I got to endorse toothpaste and dance salsa at the same time. You remember that audition i went for a few months ago where i was made to dance? Well, they called me back and offered me a job for one day.
So on Saturday, i went to get my make up done and did my thing alongside the Wildchild. It was fun.
Sunday- Off to fantasy land in Ikoyi for the MTV/mtn vj search! I got there at 8.45am and i was #342!!! After hours of queueing, i did the first audition, we were told wait around after that. Around 12noon, the semi finalists were announced and i was one of them! I was so happy! We did a second audition/interview and then around 6.30pm, they announced the 5 finalists out of the over 600 people auditioned that day, i was one of them again!!!
We got on stage, we were told to introduce songs like we were already vj's, then we were told to ask olu maintain (yahoozee) one question each, after which we waited in suspense for them to announce the winner.
I felt like i was in a pageant, you know that part of the pageant where the runners up are announced and the queen is announced? Anyway, the girl standing right next to me was announced as the winner, i gave her a hug and wished her all the best.
I was a bit bummed but its alright, i guess it wasn't for me.

ahhh...update finally. congrats on ur one day toothpaste thingy. so i guess i will be watching every toothpaste ad now to see if you look like you sound and read...lol. speaking of how you sound, do you guys have online streaming of your station?
